Fritz Bauer, a Prosecutor against Nazism
On December 20, 1963, in Frankfurt, a German federal court will try Nazi criminals for the first time. Fritz Bauer, a prosecutor unknown until then, is in charge. The man, who’s against the policy of oblivion and silence, not only wants to bring Nazi criminals to trial but also wants to make Germany face the truth of its past. For the whole country, it is a shock. German youth discover with horror the crimes of their fathers’ generation. Nothing will ever be the same.
