They present a new face of Burgundy, more feminine and modern. They are undeniable pieces of the wine industry in Burgundy and seem to be on an equal footing with men. However, to get where they are today, they had show more determination, to show more envy than their male counterparts. When a woman inherits the family estate, it is above all, in the overwhelming majority of cases, because she does not have a brother capable of taking over. Women oenologists must always do more than their male counterparts to convince of their abilities and establish their credibility.
