They have reached the point of no return. Bruno, Jean-François, David and the others… left France several decades ago. They succumbed to the myth of sunny countries, fascinated by the vastness of the oceans, absorbed by the depths of the forests. Once there, they had to be disillusioned : finding a job turned out to be difficult and today, they live on resourcefulness, marginalized, uprooted, at odds with society.

With their dreams and chimeras that get lost in a reflection largely obscured by alcohol or drugs. Some are adrift, others fully assume a choice of life in harmony with a wild and loved nature, others finally persuade themselves that everything is still possible and accept a gloomy reality. They tell us their story, their daily life, their disappointments, none of which will have altered an immense thirst for freedom.
