Composed of 50 girls and boys aged 8 to 20, the choir of the “Petits Ecoliers Chantants de Bondy” was created in 1945 by Mr. Roger Tribouilloy, then a young teacher from Bondy, passionate about choral singing and eager to give healthy hobbies to children of this working-class Parisian suburb.
The idea for this tribute film came in 2020 when former choir members gathered in what was once their rehearsal room and began to recall their memories.
Combining archive images and Christmas songs, this return in images and music introduces us to a moving human and spiritual adventure from which, sometimes, a few notes of nostalgia stand out.
