Girls, Vine & Wine

This documentary, through a set of crossed portraits, focuses on the lives of 4 women winegrowers from the small Cubzaguais region, in France. Through their very different backgrounds, the director wanted to highlight these winegrowers who are attached to their land and who have chosen to work the vines organically and biodynamically in order to counter the sometimes preconceived ideas of an inaccessible Bordeaux wine that does not respect the environment. Anne-Cécile, Florence, Virginie, and Marie-Caroline speak with sincerity and humour about their passions, their doubts and the joy of making wine.
