The surprising Levant Island in the French Riviera is a beautiful natural paradise where on one side the Military established a base and on the other the Durvill brothers founded Héliopolis in the 1930’s.
Héliopolis or “City of the Sun” was born out of the brothers dream of a Naturist community, a way of life in harmony with nature characterised by the practice of social nudity with the intention of encouraging self-respect, respect for others and for the environment.

Today we visit this incredible place to meet some of its most enthusiast inhabitants and their fascinating way of living.
