Marie Noël
Marie Noël, admired by Aragon, Colette, François Mauriac, and even Montherlant, won the Grand Prix of the French Academy for all of her work. She was the prolific author of stories, songs, lullabies, laments, tales, poems and psalms that delivered her from the expectation, the darkness, the doubt and the dread of death. A life of ceaseless struggle, over the words, against the evil to which only love can respond.
