They are a handful, but they believe in it : the future of wine is here, in their mountains. In a few years, the vines of the Durance valley will be very sought after. Besides, history says that the Hautes-Alpes is a land of wine. The region had up to 7,000 hectares of vines before they disappeared due to phylloxera at the end of the 19th century.
