At the evocation of the color green associated with the city of Saint Etienne, it immediately comes to mind the great years of the French football club, the color of the jersey of historically heroic players, the song « Go green ! ».

But few know the city of Saint Etienne under the label of exemplarity in terms of parks, gardens, green spaces, clean environment, forest surfaces, unifying well-being and quality of life within a city marked by gray and coal dust.

This documentary will highlight the actions of the community and the assets of this mining town in the unique setting of green spaces and obtaining the third flower in the national competition as well as the work of gardeners who put all their heart into maintaining parks and gardens.

Regional photographer Thierry Pierrard will enrich his vision of photography with his report on Saint Etienne and his journey in the West Indies and Colombia.
