It is interesting to note that at the origin of most of the great Christian works, there is “a spiritual couple” : Saint Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac, Saint François de Sales and Jeanne de Chantal, Saint Jean de la Croix and Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Clare and many others, less known.

By immersing itself in parishes and communities, this film evokes – or reveals – for many viewers the existence of “great works”, carried out over the centuries, recent decades and even today by priests, nuns or “secular Christians”.
