Symbiosis : Land of Neanderthals

We venture on a trail into our distant past, asking: who were the Neanderthals? The answer lies entangled in the ancient hinterlands of Neanderthal territories. In those territories numerous caves conceal debris, including flint tools. We now understand where Neanderthal traveled on the land… Rob Hope follows the trail in order to understand these enigmatic nomads… He meets with specialists Jean Paul Raynal, Marie-Hélène Moncel, Camille Daujeard and Jean Combier of France’s CNRS research department, as well as Svante Pääbo, of the Max Planck Institute and Alban Defleur.
