Travelling into the Alpilles is travelling through time. This territory embedded in the heart of La Provence, in the south of Avignon, populated with centenary olive trees, vines and old stones, is an archaeological treasure which transports us through centuries. Such gigantic statues, rocks sculpted by time and erosion, watch over the mountain range. Here, time seems to have stood still. Man continues to work on the land as it has always done, wine and olive oil have always been pillars of secular agriculture. Only the ancient pilgrims have been replaced by tourists in search of historical discovery, nature and authentic products.
