The Art Brut
At the dawn of the 20th century, daring psychiatrists offered new sources of inspiration and reflection to modern artists by bringing out the works of the insane. Artists like Picasso and the surrealists discovered an incredible source of fascination for these discoveries, to the point for some, to collect them and draw inspiration from them. Art brut was born.
