While the Belo Monte dam inexorably continues its destruction, against a backdrop of economic, social and environmental crime, this is the second film to reveal what has become of the “invisible people of Belo Monte”, far from the wonderful future envisaged by Norte Energia and all those who strive to give a false image of themselves, in order to hide or justify their malice better.
“The Disappeared of Belo Monte” is an authentic approach and an unprecedented discovery of the riches of the Volta Grande do Xingu to prove that one can be against this mega dam project without being against development. Nothing is more effective than nature itself! A sensitive and intimate documentary approach that opens up to life.
