This film takes us to the discovery of Down’s syndrome “on both sides of the mirror”. Down’s syndrome, daily life for nearly 70,000 families in France (400,000 in Europe) … and Down’s syndrome, a subject of research and a major challenge for a considerable number of scientific teams…

To embody the “journey” between these two worlds, we had to find a character with full legitimacy on the subject: we found Melchior. Melchior is a mischievous teenager with Down’s syndrome. He invites us into his daily life to help us understand better his condition, and what it does for him, his family and his environment.
